What Equipment Works Best for that Next Project?

No matter what climate you live in, there are always plenty of meaningful outdoor projects you can take on. This time of year can still be just as productive as the summer months, allowing you to finish an outdoor renovation project you’ve been working on or begin a brand new one.
And as with every project, there’s always tools and equipment you’ll need to get things done. So what are the best machines to use?
Make your own mulch: Chipper shredder
It’s not too late to protect your soil through winter or start a compost pile for spring. Sure, there’s synthetic mulch you can buy, but using organic mulch helps put nutrients back into the ground as it decomposes. Make mulch from scratch using one of our chipper shredders like the Altec six-inch chipper, designed with a rotating discharge chute so you can direct your mulch in any direction.
And while you’re at it, you can maximize your rental and get rid of any other debris in your yard for future compost material.
Stump removal: Stump grinder
This may seem like an obvious one, but if you’re planning to remove that eye-sore of a stump from your front yard, consider renting one of our stump grinders like the Toro STX26.
You can rent by using our Compact Power Equipment Rental app or on our website. And don’t forget about our VIP Onsite Delivery option! It truly makes the entire rental process just more convenient:
Demolition removal and transporting materials: Dump trailer
For those of you in warmer climates, bigger outdoor projects may be on your list. So, if you’re updating your landscape and will be using lots of heavy materials, make carrying and loading these items easier with one of our dump trailers.
We have a couple different sizes for you to choose from, all available at your local Home Depot Tool Rental Center. Whether you need to get rid of dirt, gravel or something in between, our trailers will make clean up a breeze.
