Projects to Complete During the Fall Season
Posted by: Erika Green on September 29, 2017

Leaves are beginning to fall, the weather’s cooler and the yard is calling your name. Before October drifts by and we near the cold, winter season, there are some outdoor projects you should have on your radar.
Tree Removal
Stumped on what project to tackle this month? While trees provide shade, they can also become a safety hazard. Have your trees checked and then work with a Pro to do the actual tree cutting. You can finish the job by removing and disposing of the stump. Stump grinders from The Home Depot Rental are an efficient and convenient way to eliminate pesky leftovers.
Regrade the Driveway
An uneven driveway is a problem that won’t soon fix itself. While the elements are on your side, take care of your driveway’s imbalance before conditions worsen.
Renting a Bobcat skid steer from The Home Depot Rental can assist with moving gravel into position, leveling the ground and smoothing the surface for a fresh driveway your car will love. But before you rent, make sure you’re comfortable using the equipment!
Install a Fence
Use these last few weeks of cool weather to increase your home’s value. Whether you’re tackling a fence purely for aesthetics, or to create more privacy or to keep your children and pets safe, you’ll need some help digging (after you call 811 first, of course.) Rent a mini excavator to help you quickly, and efficiently, dig your fence post holes.
