Extend Your Reach with Aerial Equipment

Posted by: Erika Green on September 15, 2017

With the change in seasons comes a new list of projects to complete. Crisp breezes and loose leaves make fall the perfect time to ready your gutters, roof and windows for protection against the elements. And, renting aerial equipment from The Home Depot Rental can help you reach new heights. Here are some ideas to get you started this fall.

Gutter Check-Up

Even the smallest bit of debris can clog your gutters which can lead to roof damage and foundation leaks. So, before the leaves fall, use aerial equipment to give your gutters a check-up. While you’re up there, consider installing gutter guards to stop leaves and other messy debris from clogging your gutters.

Roof Inspection

Make sure your roof is ready by conducting a roof inspection. Use aerial equipment to examine your roof and shingles for damage and make sure it’s ready to take on the new seasons. Don’t forget to check for openings, too. Through even the smallest space, critters can get in and use your warm home as a reprieve during the cooler months.

Winterize the Windows

If you have a multi-level home, your windows are probably pretty difficult to reach – safely, at least. Whether you’re changing screens, applying weather strips or checking for damage, aerial equipment allows you to access even the trickiest windows from a safe and sturdy position.

Decorate the Exterior

Halloween is upon us. Which means it’s time to dig out the cobwebs, skeletons and spooky lights to decorate. Fortunately, aerial equipment can keep you safe when hanging the lights and decorations. Trust us, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

If you’ve never used aerial equipment before, be sure to watch our how-to videos before you get started (found on our YouTube channel) to learn how it’s done.
