ASV Skid Steers: The Perfect Machines for Your Next Property Improvement Job
Posted by: Erika Green on April 2, 2019
ASV skid steers have been vital pieces of jobsite machinery for years. Since its start in 1983, ASV has built a solid foundation among professional contractors by delivering compact equipment with a unique and patented rubber track that provides traction on any terrain. Thirty-five years later, ASV skid steers remain some of the most productive and versatile compact machines available.
Designed to help you work in more places and in more conditions, it’s no surprise that we carry a line of ASV skid steers within our rental fleet.
All of our ASV skid steers available at The Home Depot Rental are tracked models. While wheels excel in ideal, flat conditions, tracks can tackle even the toughest job. Skid steers with tracks make light work of difficult surfaces, including wet and uneven ground that wheels alone can’t handle.
We’re all about offering equipment that will increase jobsite productivity and our ASV machines are known for doing just that. When using a skid steer with tracks, you don’t need to wait for your jobsite to dry out after rain or for snow to melt. Increased efficiency means getting jobs done quicker and easier.
So what type of ASV tracked machines do we have available?
We currently offer the ASV RT25 skid steer, ASV RT30 skid steer, and PT50 skid steer in select markets. Perfect for property improvement jobs such as grading and leveling, as well as loading, carrying and spreading materials, these skid steers provide a powerful yet reliable operating experience.
The RT25 and RT30 have an operating capacity of 950 lbs. and 665 lbs., respectively, while the PT50 can provide a little more strength on the jobsite with an operating capacity of 1,900 lbs. Equipped with state-of-the-art rubber track undercarriages and diesel engines, you can’t go wrong with one of these machines.
