Do you take deposits for rentals?
Yes, all rentals require a deposit. The amount varies by rental, ranging from $300-$500 for large equipment and $25-$300 for general tools. All vehicle rentals require a $150 deposit.

What types of large equipment can I rent?
The Home Depot Rental offers a variety of pro-quality large equipment. Our basic fleet consists of trenchers, mini skid steers, skid steers, mini excavators, tractor loader backhoes, chippers, stump grinders and aerial equipment. What attachments are available for large equipment rentals?
Large equipment rentals come with the standard bucket or fork attachment for that unit. Our mini skid steer system rentals come with a standard bucket and several auger bits. You can check your nearest rental center to see what auger bit sizes are available.

We offer affordable, unlimited-mileage flatbed pickup trucks, enclosed cargo vans and box trucks for your transportation and moving needs. Selection varies by location, so we recommend checking inventory here.
How much does it cost to rent a vehicle?
Pickup truck and cargo van rentals start at just $19 for the first 75 minutes and moving box trucks start at only $29 for the first 75 minutes.
How long can I rent a vehicle?
Vehicles are priced by rental duration and start with a flat rate fee for the first 75 minutes. There is no mileage limit to your vehicle rental.
Do I need to purchase something in order to rent a vehicle?
No, you do not need to make a purchase at The Home Depot to rent from us.
Do I need to put fuel in my rental before returning it?
All rentals must be returned with the same amount of fuel they had at the time of pickup, similar to a rental car.
Does the rental need to be cleaned before being returned?
Yes, you are responsible for returning a clean rental. There is a cleaning fee of $200 for any rental that is not returned clean.
Do I need to return my rental to the same location, or can it be returned to any The Home Depot Rental center?
Rentals must be returned to the same store they were rented from.
